Senior Building Surveyor – London

This is a client-facing role offering a diverse workload across high-value commercial projects, professional advisory work, and leadership responsibilities.You’ll be joining a business known for combining technical expertise with commercial insight, delivering for major investors, developers, occupiers, and institutions across the UK. You will take ownership of a varied portfolio including:Inspections, condition surveys, defect analysis, and technical due diligence.Preparing reports, schedules of work, and specifications.Designing and overseeing refurbishment, repair, and fit-out projects under recognised building contracts.Acting as lead consultant/project manager on high-value schemes, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.Delivering landlord and tenant instructions – including dilapidations and negotiation.Advising on party wall, building regulations, and health and safety matters.Supporting APC candidates and contributing to team development.The WorkProjects span office, retail, industrial, hospitality, residential, and mixed-use sectors – from central London fit-outs to major industrial refurbishments. The firm also delivers fund monitoring, insurance reinstatement, and dispute resolution services, providing breadth for surveyors seeking variety.About You

Proven track record in both professional and project work.Confident running schemes from inception to completion.Skilled in negotiation and client relationship management.Strong technical knowledge of legislation, contracts, and building pathology.What’s On Offer
