Maintenance Operative
Daniel Owen are working with a client who require an experienced Maintenance Operative to start near Oxford.The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of plant equipment and facilities. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance Operative will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.Duties- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing plumbing, electrical systems, and decorating.- Cooperate fully with management in respect of all Health and Safety compliance - Conduct inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues- Respond to maintenance requests from residents or staff in a timely manner- Keep accurate records of maintenance performed and materials used- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for larger repairs or installations- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of common areas and facilitiesRequirements- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred- Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and heating systems- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively- Excellent customer service and communication skills- Basic proficiency in EnglishThis role offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated maintenance professional ..... full job details .....
