Jackson Hogg Procurement division are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly-growing FMCG e-commerce business in Newton Aycliffe on the appointment of a Buyer to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis. This is an on-site based role with working hours of Monday to Friday 08.30-17.00 (40 hours) and salary of circa 40-42k depending on experience. Benefits include: 22 days holiday + bank holidays + birthday off (rising on length of service), competitive bonus scheme up to 25%, possibility of CIPS funding, pension scheme 5% ER and 3% EE. This Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing a portfolio of power tool products and suppliers to ensure strong availability, competitive pricing, and margin delivery. The Role: Buying and Commercial Management Manage a defined buying category Source new products and suppliers aligned with customer demand and commercial strategy Negotiate cost prices, rebates, payment terms, MOQs, and promotional support to maximise margin Maintain competitive pricing and strong product availability across the range Supplier Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key UK and international suppliers Conduct regular supplier performance reviews (cost, service level, lead times, quality) Identify and mitigate supply risks, working closely with Supply Chain and Operations Support supplier onboarding and contract management Range and Stock Management Work with Merchandising and Digital Teams to optimise pr
