Procurement ManagerHybrid Working 6 months initial contractThis role will be focused on and will require proven experience in Sourcing and procuring a range of enabling services, including mobile phones and telecommunications, transport, health and safety services, and other operational support services.Key Responsibilities- Lead procurement exercises from requirements gathering through to supplier selection and award.- Work with internal stakeholders to understand requirements, develop specifications and identify suitable procurement routes.- Undertake market research, obtain quotations, manage tender exercises and evaluate supplier submissions.- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to secure value for money.- Provide procurement advice and guidance to stakeholders, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement legislation, financial regulations and internal procedures.- Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure decisions are transparent, properly approved and auditable.- Identify opportunities for cost savings, improved efficiency and better purchasing outcomes.- Manage multiple procurement activities and priorities, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales.Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply.
