FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative (Days)

Location: Shipley, BD17
Salary: -27,300 per annum + Overtime paid after 37.5 hours
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm (8:00am - 4:00pm during training)

Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a reliable and motivated FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to join their day shift team on a permanent basis.

As an FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient movement of stock and materials throughout the warehouse and production areas. This is a varied position combining forklift driving responsibilities with general warehouse duties in a fast-paced but friendly environment.

• Safely operate forklift trucks to move materials and products around site (Counterbalance and Reach)
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Build pallets and prepare goods for dispatch
• Accurately pick and pack customer orders
• Move stock between departments and storage locations
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
• Carry out daily equipment and forklift checks, reporting any defects
• Assist with stock control and inventory processes
• Support with general warehouse duties as required

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT licence
• Previous experience in a warehouse and forklift driving position
• Good understanding of warehouse health and safety procedures
• Basic PC skills and confidence using stock control or warehouse management systems
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive and reliable approach to work
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
