Job Title: Small Works Manager – Projects
Location: Chester Office (CH1 4NP)
Salary: £48,000 per annum + annual bonus scheme
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (office-based with site visits as required)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Small Works Manager to join our Projects Division, overseeing the delivery of HVAC small works installations up to £50,000. The role involves managing projects from survey and pricing through to completion and handover, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.
This position is ideal for an individual with a strong background in split and VRF air conditioning installation and proven experience managing small-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities- Small Works Manager – Projects

• Conduct site surveys for small installations (up to £50,000 value).
• Manage small works installations from inception to completion.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships on projects.
• Prepare and issue safety documentation (RAMS).
• Deliver complete project handovers with required documentation.
• Liaise with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications & Experience (Essential)- Small Works Manager – Projects

• Proven experience in split and VRF air conditioning installations.
• Experience managing small projects from pricing through to handover.
• Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

(Desirable)

• Experience preparing RAMS and other H&S documentation.
• Project management qualifications or training.
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing skills.
