Are you a Business Development Manager with experience selling conveyor systems, automation or materials handling solutions, looking to take a leading role in the growth of a specialist engineering business?

This established specialist engineering company designs and delivers bespoke conveyor and turnkey automation solutions for manufacturers across the UK. With expertise spanning design, installation, commissioning and integrated controls, the business supports customers across a range of sectors.

You will play a key role in driving the company''s commercial growth, identifying new opportunities, developing long-term customer relationships and promoting complete conveyor and automation solutions. Joining a smaller, ambitious business, you''ll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact, work closely with the wider team and share in the success.

This role would suit a commercially driven BDM with a background in conveyors, automation or materials handling, who wants greater influence, earning potential and the opportunity to help grow a respected specialist business.

The Role:

• Driving new business development across the UK
• Identifying and securing opportunities for conveyor and turnkey automation projects
• Building relationships with manufacturers, end users and key decision-makers
• Developing existing accounts while targeting new customers across food and beverage, packaging, logistics and materials handling
• Working alongside internal engineering and project teams to develop customer proposals and solutions
• Managing the sales pipeline, preparing quotations and negotiating commercial agreements

The Person:

• Experience in sales or business development within conveyors, automation or materials handling
• Experience with sectors such as food and beverage, packaging, logistics or materials handling
