You will handle standard bookkeeping alongside sector-specific duties, with a strong focus on project costing and managing subcontractor payments.Key Responsibilities: Accounts Payable: Process and match supplier and subcontractor invoices against purchase orders and delivery notes.Project Costing: Allocate material, plant hire, and labour costs to the correct project codes to ensure precise job costing.Payment Runs: Prepare weekly or monthly payment runs for subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring retentions are tracked and applied correctly.Reconciliations: Perform regular bank and supplier statement reconciliations, resolving any discrepancies quickly.
