I''m recruiting on behalf of a professional services organisation based in Peterborough seeking a technically strong and commercially minded Financial Controller / Management Accountant to join their finance team on an initial 4-month assignment.The RoleYou will be responsible for the preparation of management accounts and financial reporting, managing the month-end close process and providing detailed variance analysis. You will also oversee balance sheet reconciliations, maintain robust financial controls and ensure accurate and timely financial information.The Ideal CandidateYou must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with proven experience as a Financial Controller or Management Accountant and strong technical accounting knowledge.You will be organised, detail-oriented and confident working to deadlines, with the ability to communicate financial performance effectively.
