Responsibilities of the Area Development Manager: Develop a network of contacts within the Client, Specification and Tier 1 Contractors and targeted Contracting community, within defined and agreed markets including Power, Rail, Industrial, MOD and MOJ. Identify suitable project opportunities and develop relations with the key decision makers. Positively promote the Companys sustainability credentials and its Powered by Specialists approach. Achieve specified status with key customers, to include product targets identified and agreed. Follow up all project opportunities through to the supply stage. Maintain excellent internal working relations at all relevant levels, especially with other members of the Cable Management sales team, and particularly the Head of Sales. Develop and manage supply chain solutions with major Contractors and their partners and ensure that selected distributors are fully able to support project sales in terms of stock availability and agreed pricing, in conjunction with the relevant Area Sales Manager.
