Job Title: PRU Teaching Assistant Location: Hillingdon Salary: £85 £110 per day (depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract: Full-time, ongoingGSL Education is working with a Pupil Referral Unit in Hillingdon to recruit a PRU Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting secondary students excluded from mainstream education.Responsibilities: Work 1:1 or in small groups with pupils presenting behavioural challenges. Implement positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques. Assist teachers with lesson preparation and student engagement. Act as a role model and mentor for pupils. Ideal Candidate: Experience in PRUs, youth work or behavioural support is beneficial. Resilient, calm and able to work under pressure. Confident managing challenging behaviour.
