This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.SEND Teaching Assistant - The RoleAs a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and build confidence.Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND Supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH Assisting in the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environmentSEND Teaching Assistant - The Ideal CandidateTo be considered for this role, you should have: Experience supporting children with SEND (school-based experience desirable) A strong understanding of additional needs and inclusive practice A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach Excellent communication and teamwork skills A relevant Teaching A
