Key Responsibilities

  Deliver dynamic and engaging Media Studies lessons to students at Key Stages 3 and 4

  Plan and develop creative, thought-provoking lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity

  
  



• 
  

  Assess student progress regularly, providing constructive feedback to support their academic and personal growth

  
  



• 
  

  Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, contribute to department initiatives, and support school-wide goals

  
  



• 
  

  Build strong, supportive relationships with students and parents to foster a positive learning environment

  
  

What We''re Looking For

• 
  

  A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent)

  
  



• 
  

  A degree in Media Studies, Film Studies, English, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related subject

  
  



• 
  

  Experience teaching Media at the secondary level is preferred but not essential

  
  



• 
  

  Excellent classroom management skills with a focus on engaging students and encouraging their academic success

  
  



• 
  

  Strong communication and organisational skills, and a proactive approach to professional growth
