The company is proud of their heritage and over the last 50 years has grown considerably Reporting to the Site Manager, as Technical Manager you will be a key member of the Site Management Team and your main areas of responsibility will be Food Safety and Quality, including all QA/QC functions on the site. Technical Manager Duties will include: Monitoring and reviewing the Health and Safety performance of the site Ensuring the correct compliance with policies, procedures and legislation to meet Food Safety, Quality and Environmental requirements. Managing a team of five plus Technical Assistants reporting into the Team Managers on site Actively seeking to improve the company''s profitability and control by the efficient control of raw materials, product and energy waste. Technical Manager Essential Knowledge / Skills: Relevant Technical Management experience within the food industry. Extensive practical experience of BRC accreditation, HACCP implementation, facilitation of customer audits and quality system management.
