We are seeking a proactive Finance Officer to join our department, working closely with the Finance Manager (Payables and Receivables) to ensure the smooth running of financial systems, processes and support across the School.This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role within a supportive team, providing essential financial services to staff, parents, budget holders and senior leaders.This is a HYBRID Job 3/2Purpose of the RoleTo support the Finance Manager in managing the School''s financial systems and ensuring compliance with legislation, City of London Corporation regulations, and School policies.To assist in the delivery of accurate and timely financial advice to Heads of Department, the Senior Management Team and parents.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial AdministrationAdminister the School''s fees and deposits system, including scholarships, bursaries and prizes.Produce termly invoices, manage monthly direct debit collections, and undertake regular reconciliations.Manage the credit control process, including follow-up on problematic arrears cases.Process transactions for operational budgets, the School''s Imprest Account, Creditors and departmental accounts using City and School financial systems.Administer and reconcile accounts for overseas tours
