We are seeking a dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Teaching Assistant to join a school working with secondary students in an alternative provision setting. The SEMH Teaching Assistant will play a vital role in helping students with personal care and behavioural challenges while fostering a nurturing classroom environment. This teaching assistant role involves close collaboration with teachers, the SENCO, and other professionals to develop effective behaviour management strategies and deliver targeted support. The successful candidate will be actively involved in engaging students through activities such as PE sessions, games, and other interests to promote positive behaviour and social development.
