JOB PURPOSEAs a Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be supporting our client by supporting the project design work for retail, commercial and industrial customers, within the building services Team.KEY RESPONSIBLITIESAs a Building Services Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be supporting our client by assisting the design team in producing high quality complete design packages for a variety of clients.Responsible for the design specification, and coordination of mechanical building services, including HVAC and Plumbing.Maintain a strong awareness of best practice, regulatory requirements.Plant selection and sizing in line with specifications/schedulesPipework and ductwork sizing in line with latest regulationsUse thermal analysis software to calculate heat losses and heat gainsAttend meetings as part of a team and individually to ascertain clients requirementsAttend project / site meetings.Carry out site surveys.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONSMechanical building service design experienceHNC in Building Services
