The organisation delivers a wide range of services, activities and support for its members, alongside running commercial operations including hospitality and events, with income reinvested back into student services. They are now looking for a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) to join them as Finance Manager, taking responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and effective operation of the finance function. The role manages a team of around 3 and reports to the Head of Finance and Resources. Based in Egham, with hybrid working available, this is a broad, hands-on role that would particularly suit an experienced all-round Finance Manager from an SME-sized business, charity or similarly varied organisation. A key part of the role will be taking ownership of monthly management accounts and financial forecasting, alongside cashflow projections and longer-term financial planning.
