ALPINE RACING LIMITED is reinforcing its Data Science team here in Enstone to investigate, develop, implement, and maintain data models and services in close collaboration with different departments. This role is for a Data Scientist to join the Software Engineering and Data team, where you will help develop cutting-edge solutions to support the Formula One World Championship.The Role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a Data Science team, working with Software and Platform Engineers who strive to improve all areas of the team, from car design and manufacture to performance analysis at track. The role covers both scientific and engineering aspects of Data Science. The ideal candidate will have a passion for data, knowledge sharing and collaboration.You will be responsible for proposing, developing, implementing/delivering, and maintaining machine learning–based solutions for complex F1 problems, as well as communicating with the engineering teams to analyse problems and develop solutions. The ideal candidate will have experience in Data Science algorithms, with demonstrated ability to work and deliver results autonomously within tight schedules.Responsibilities

BSc or MSc degree in a relevant field for Data Science.More than 2 years of development in Python and machine learning techniques in production or laboratory.Understanding of key parameters that affect performance and end-to-end data science pipelines.Excellent verbal and written communication and strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Knowledge and expertise in: Python data science packages (Pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, PyTorch), machine learning techniques (Neural Networks, XGBoost), and deployment pipelines (Azure DevOps, Docker, GitHub Actions).Good understanding of architecture and design patterns; ability to meet deadlines; willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.Nice-to-have: experience with other programming languages (e.g., Rust, C#).Benefits and Additional Information
