Shift Engineer - Paddington - 50,000 - 52,000A leading facilities management provider is seeking a Shift Engineer to support operations at a high-profile commercial building in Paddington.This role is well suited to a proactive building services engineer with strong technical knowledge and experience working within large commercial environments, delivering safe, efficient, and reliable building operations.Key Responsibilities:Operate, maintain, and monitor mechanical and electrical building servicesCarry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive worksRespond to faults, alarms, and building issues in a timely mannerEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations and site proceduresSupport daily building operations and tenant requirementsLiaise with specialist subcontractors and service partnersComplete accurate maintenance records, reports, and shift handoversAssist with emergency response proceduresRequirements:Experience working within a commercial building or corporate environmentElectrical or mechanical engineering backgroundGood working knowledge of HVAC, pumps, AHUs, lighting, and power systemsRelevant engineering qualifications (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)Comfortable working on a shift patternStrong fault-finding and communication skills
