AJ Chambers are representing an Essex based Schools Trust who are looking for 2x IT Technicians to join their IT Support Function.We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Technician to join our IT Support team. You''ll provide first and second-line IT support across our Trust, ensuring staff and students have reliable technology to support teaching and learning.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-line IT support for staff and students.Install, configure and maintain PCs, laptops, tablets and other IT equipment.Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365 and user account issues.Support classroom technology, including interactive displays, AV equipment and printers.Manage and prioritise helpdesk tickets, escalating complex issues where required.Assist with device deployment, software installations and system updates.Provide IT support for exams, school events and day-to-day operations.Support educational platforms and maintain secure, reliable IT systems.What We''re Looking ForMinimum 2 years'' experience in an IT support role.Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and general hardware/software troubleshooting.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to prioritise workloads and solve technical issues efficiently.A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail.GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.DesirableExperience working within a school or education environment.Familiarity with educational ..... full job details .....
