Electrical Design Engineer Location: Salford, Greater ManchesterJob Type: Full-Time About the Role: We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team based in Salford. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Electrical Design Engineer with a strong background in electrical engineering design, particularly within utility, power distribution and electrical connections projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical designs, developing technical specifications and ensuring that all engineering solutions meet relevant industry standards, safety requirements and project objectives. You will work closely with internal engineering teams, clients, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered efficiently, safely and within agreed budgets and timescales. Key Responsibilities: Understand project requirements, objectives and technical deliverables, ensuring designs meet client expectations. Design and specify electrical installations covering Low Voltage (LV) through to 33kV systems. Carry out detailed electrical system modelling, including load calculations, fault level assessments and protection coordination. Ensure all electrical designs and site activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations and technical requirements.
