Hours: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) | 8:30am - 3:30pm

Long Term Futures are working with a warm and inclusive mainstream primary school in Woodgate (B32), who are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support a Year 4 pupil with ADHD, SEMH, and attachment needs. The successful candidate will provide consistent, 1:1 support focused on emotional regulation, behaviour management, and developing trust through a calm, nurturing approach.

This is a long-term position with strong potential to become permanent. You''ll be part of a collaborative SEN team with guidance from a dedicated SENCO and experienced support staff.

• Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)

• Experience supporting children with SEMH, ADHD, and attachment needs

• Skilled in behaviour support, emotional regulation, and relationship building

• Calm, patient, and consistent approach to working with children

• Familiarity with EHCPs and supporting progress through structured intervention

• Able to follow guidance from the class teacher and SENCO while using initiative

• Located in Woodgate, B32, with great transport links and local parking

• Inclusive mainstream primary school with a strong child-centred ethos
