My client is a manufacturing organisation based in Leigh. Doe to the current incumbent leaving the business they are recruiting this role on a permanent basis into their finance function, the role will report directly into the Managing Director and so you will have full autonomy over the finance team. As a Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management including accounting, budgeting and reporting, preparing accurate monthly and annual accounts with commentary on performance, providing financial analysis into the numbers to support strategic decisions, manage cash flow and working capital, develop and maintain internal control policies and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders, as well as manage the team underneath you. This role will suit a qualified accountant who has experience leading a finance function, preferably within a manufacturing environment but this is not essential. The salary is paying up to £65,000 dependant on experience and will be based onsite 5 days a week.
