Freelance Site Manager

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Duration: 30 weeks
Start Date: 24th August 2026
Pre-Start Meeting: 18th August 2026
Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience

Tradeline Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to work on a 30-week re-roofing project in Weybridge.

The project is based within a live commercial building and will involve re-roofing works alongside some internal M&E upgrades. The successful Site Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring the works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required standard.

The Role

• Managing the day-to-day running of the site
• Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
• Managing re-roofing works and associated internal M&E works
• Ensuring health & safety requirements are maintained
• Managing site progress and programme
• Liaising with the client and other stakeholders
• Working within a live commercial environment with minimal disruption to the building''s occupants
• Ensuring works are completed to the required quality standards

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience working as a Site Manager on commercial or refurbishment projects
• Experience managing roofing works would be beneficial
• Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures
• Confident managing subcontractors and site teams
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Comfortable working within a live environment
• SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS required
• Available to start on 24th August 2026
