Role: Pricing Specialist - Ocean Freight Location: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary: From 32k + bonuses Work Pattern: Office Based, Mon - Fri 08:00am - 16:00pm / 09:00am - 17:00pm We are working with one of the largest privately owned international freight forwarding companies with multiple office across the country, who are actively on the lookout out for a Pricing Specialist specialising in Ocean Freight. This company has been established for over 35+ years and are continuing to grow in the industry. Duties: Negotiate rates with carriers / hauliers / suppliers Prepare and submit customer quotations and proposals within agreed timeframe Work within our in-house system to create and issue quotations Communicate with customers to manage and follow up all quotes Adjusting pricing where possible to ensure we secure opportunities.
