Welsh Medium Teaching Assistant - Merthyr Tydfil

Whether you have previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or have gained extensive experience working with children in another setting, we''d love to hear from you!

• Supporting pupils within a Welsh-medium primary school.

• Assisting the class teacher with daily lessons and classroom activities.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required.

• Communicating with pupils and staff confidently in Welsh.

• Encouraging pupils'' confidence, independence and engagement with learning.

• Supporting children''s social, emotional and academic development.

• Helping maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

• Fluency in Welsh is essential.

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or extensive experience working with children in another setting.

• Confidence supporting primary-aged pupils.

• A patient, enthusiastic and adaptable approach.

• Someone passionate about Welsh-medium education and helping children reach their potential.

• -92.59 per day, with potential increases depending on the school''s agreed rate, your experience and qualifications.

• Enhanced DBS certificate required.

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) required.
