You will be responsible for the Mechanical maintenance of our diverse range of machinery, from vintage 1950s equipment to modern automated lines, remains operational and efficient. You will also play a key role in the maintenance team. The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Role Key Responsibilities• Machine Maintenance: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a varied range of machinery, including grinding, milling, and turning machines, sintering furnaces, and dedicated wire-making lines.• Machine Builds: Actively participate in the mechanical assembly and build-out of our bespoke welding machines at our factory for testing and across the globe at client sites for final installation and commissioning.• Site-Wide Planning: Take full ownership of the site-wide maintenance schedule, implementing a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) program to reduce reactive downtime.• Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and implement mechanical and electrical improvements across the site to enhance safety, reduce downtime, and increase production efficiency.• Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance team ..... full job details .....
