Responsibilities As a Skilled Groundworker, your key responsibilities will include:

• Taking down and rebuilding drainage runs to ensure proper functionality and compliance with project specifications.
• Installing manholes with precision and attention to detail.
• Collaborating with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.
• Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A valid CSCS Card (essential).
• Confined Space certification (preferable but not essential).
• Proven experience in groundworks, particularly in drainage systems and manhole installation.
• Strong understanding of health and safety practices in construction.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Day-to-Day Your typical day will involve:

• Reporting to the site supervisor and receiving daily tasks.
• Preparing the site and ensuring all necessary tools and materials are available.
• Executing drainage-related tasks, including dismantling and rebuilding drainage runs.
• Installing manholes and ensuring all work meets project specifications.
• Conducting site clean-up and ensuring all work areas are safe and organized.
• Communicating progress and any issues to the site supervisor.
