Academics in Leeds are currently recruiting a year 1 teacher for a large 2 form entry primary school in West Leeds. The position is to start after October half term until at least Easter 2027.

The role?

This full time position will be working within a year 1 class and will include planning differentiated lessons, marking and assessing all pupils and providing feedback to both parents/care through reports and meetings.

This is a mixed ability class so the year 1 teacher must be able to plan differentiated ad engaging lessons that meet the requirements of all. There is a support assistant in class.

As a year 1 teacher in this West Leeds school you will be expected to follow the school ethos and behaviour policies which are all about positive re enforcements.

Ideal candidate?

• Fully qualified teacher
• Experienced within KS1 classes, especially year 1
• Experienced with lesson preparation and planning

Salary will be determined by the successful candidate''s qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client''s pay policy.
