Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently handling various tasks related to the storage and distribution of goods. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
• Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling practices are followed.
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Maintain an organised warehouse environment, including proper stock management.
• Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) for tracking inventory levels and managing stock.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing materials to ensure compliance with standards.
• Assist in heavy lifting and materials handling as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain a positive working atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential.
• UK Driving licence essential.
• In date FLT Counterbalance licence advantages.
• Familiarity with picking, packing, and quality control processes is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manage physical demands of the role.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential.
• A proactive attitude towards health and safety practices within the workplace.

Pay:

• -14.00 - -15.00 per hour.
• Bonus scheme after 12 weeks.
