Sheridan Maine is working with a respected and expanding accountancy practice in London to appoint an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual seeking hands-on experience across audit and accounts, while developing their career within a supportive and collaborative firm.

Key responsibilities of an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior:

• Assist in planning and completing audits for a diverse client base.
• Support senior staff with audit fieldwork and client communication.
• Prepare corporate and personal tax computations (training provided where required).
• Prepare year-end statutory accounts in line with FRS 102 and FRS 105.
• Liaise directly with clients, helping to build strong working relationships.
• Work closely with managers and partners to ensure efficient project delivery.
• Contribute to internal improvements and support the wider team where needed.

Qualifications to succeed as an Audit and Accounts Semi Senior:

• ACA / ACCA part-qualified or qualified by experience.
• Experience in audit and accounts within an accountancy practice.
• Confident using cloud-based accounting systems.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude toward learning.
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Keen to develop professionally within a supportive and growing environment.
