Mechanical Assembly TechnicianStoke - on - Trent 30-35kExperienced Mechanical Assembly Technicians required to work for a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation based near Stoke on Trent . This is a key role to the business where you will be assembling and testing a wide range of mechanical equipment.The ideal candidate will have a general knowledge of engineering disciplines, have an awareness of tolerances and be competent with basic engineering measuring equipment.Role and Responsibilities:Mechanical assembly experienceTo be able to read and understand engineering drawings, for sub-assembliesExperience with fitting tolerances and critical dimensions.Working to drawings and build instructions, be able to build complex assemblies with up to 150 component bill of materials.Awareness of how to fault find and determine cause of failure or issues and develop solutions.Have a keen eye for detail, being able to identify issues in a built assembly that would cause failure under test.Be a self-starter that can work independently towards set targets and goalsBe organised in working process, having an awareness of 5S .
