Robertson Bell are recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant on behalf of an established organisation. The Role Working as part of the financial accounting team, you will: Support the monthly close process, ensuring key accounting activities are completed accurately and to deadline. Complete detailed bank and balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving variances. Prepare and post journals, including accruals, prepayments, deferrals and other month-end adjustments. Review accounting entries and ensure transactions are correctly recorded through to trial balance. Assist with the production of monthly financial information and analysis. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate monthly depreciation. Reconcile payroll information and investigate any discrepancies. Support the preparation of statutory and tax-related information, including CIS returns.
