TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Basildon that is seeking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher. The school prides itself on creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity and a lifelong love of learning.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary Teacher on a permanent, part-time basis from September 2026. This Primary Teacher role will involve teaching a Year 4 class as part of a job share arrangement, working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver engaging lessons, assess pupil progress and maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience teaching within a UK Primary School setting

• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 / KS2 pupils

• Strong classroom management skills

• Excellent communication and organisational abilities

• A positive, proactive and adaptable approach to teaching
