Senior Regulatory Lawyer – Fitness to Practise, 5+ Years’ Experience, London / Hybrid, £57,804 - £74,526 DOE. An excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join a well established regulatory organisation in a senior leadership position. • Provide oversight of complex regulatory casework managed by external legal providers, ensuring investigations and hearing preparation are conducted to the highest professional standards.
• Act as a senior source of legal advice on complex, sensitive and high risk Fitness to Practise matters, providing guidance throughout regulatory investigations and proceedings.
• Lead and develop a team of legal professionals while overseeing the quality, performance and compliance of external legal providers.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders on governance, quality assurance and policy development, contributing to wider organisational strategy and deputising for senior leadership when required.
• Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors or Barristers with a minimum of 5 years' experience and a strong background in Fitness to Practise matters within a regulatory environment.
• Proven leadership and people management skills are essential, together with previous experience managing external legal providers. Experience within a public sector or regulatory setting would be advantageous.
• This hybrid position requires attendance at the office for 1-2 days each week, with the remainder of the working week undertaken remotely.
