Job Title: Maintenance Surveyor Location: LeedsSalary: CompetitiveContract Type: Fixed-TermHours: Full-Time About the Role: Our client seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Surveyor to join their Property Services team. You will play a key role in ensuring their housing stock is maintained to a high standard, delivering excellent service to our residents and supporting the organisation s commitment to safe, secure, and sustainable homes. Key Responsibilities: Conduct property inspections and condition surveys across the housing portfolio.Diagnose building defects and specify appropriate remedial works.Prepare schedules of work and oversee maintenance and repair projects.Manage contractors and ensure works are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.Respond to tenant repair requests and complaints, ensuring timely resolution.Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, including fire safety, asbestos, and gas safety.Support the delivery of planned maintenance and cyclical works programmes.Maintain accurate records and update asset management systems.Provide technical advice to colleagues, tenants, and stakeholders. Essential Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a similar surveying or maintenance role, ideally within social housing.Strong knowledge of building construction, maintenance, and repair techniques.Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
