What you''ll be doing: Work closely with the Registered Manager to plan, organise and manage the home day to day Support the preparation, delivery and review of individual care plans to encourage positive life skills and growth Help ensure smooth admissions for new children, in line with policies and procedures Lead by example-guiding and supporting Senior and Residential Practitioners so the home runs confidently and safely Maintain robust staffing levels and effective communication across the team Identify training needs and help ensure the team''s skills match the needs of the home Help manage risks and uphold health, safety and welfare requirements (including fire safety precautions) Take overall management responsibility when the Registered Manager is absent, ensuring continuity of care Support new staff induction alongside the Registered Manager Be available for on-call duties for advice and support during emergencies Build strong relationships with referring agencies and contribute to vacancy support Attend meetings, reviews and case conferences ..... full job details .....
