We are recruiting for a Mechanical Design Engineer/ Project Engineer to join a growing engineering business delivering bespoke industrial systems and turnkey projects. This is a varied, hands-on role offering involvement throughout the full project lifecycle, from initial customer engagement and site surveys through to design, manufacture, and installation.The RoleAs a Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer you will work closely with customers, manufacturing teams, and installation engineers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to a high standard.Key responsibilities include:The Mechanical Design Engineer / Project Engineer will be producing engineering designs and layouts using 2D AutoCAD and 3D Inventor and taking products from customer concept through to completionConducting site visits, surveys, and customer consultations to gather project requirements.Developing practical engineering solutions tailored to customer needs.Preparing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) to support installation activities.Liaising closely with manufacturing and fabrication teams to ensure designs are fit for production.Monitoring project progress and supporting successful delivery from concept through to installation.Utilising ERP and project management systems to plan, track, and manage project activities.Providing technical support to internal teams and customers throughout the project lifecycle.About YouThe successful candidate will have:The Mechanical Design ..... full job details .....
