They offer a safe environment where people can develop their skills and independence to empower change.We are looking to recruit a Housing Support Worker across their supported housing services in Oldham. This is a full time post working 37 hours per week and is temporary role. Working hours are Wednesday - Friday 12:00 - 20:00 and Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm.The roleAs a Housing Support Worker, you will be responsible for. Encouraging and assisting service users, via support plans, to develop themselves and their independence within the service or by moving on. Working in consultation with other members of the staff team and to liaise with the staff of other projects. Ensuring the upkeep and the security of the building and taking responsibility for any cash and equipment under your control. Carrying out regular key-working sessions with service users at the agreed period, to meet their individual needs and keep comprehensive records of all contacts made. Issuing warnings and taking appropriate action to promote the health, safety and welfare of all service users in line with policy and procedures.
