Architectural Technologist

Location: Cambridge

Salary: -34-44,000 (depending on experience)

A leading architectural studio in Cambridge is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join its RIBA-chartered team. The practice is known for its innovative, design-led approach and has delivered landmark projects across the commercial, residential and mixed-use sectors. Its award-winning team has built long-standing client relationships through close attention to detail and genuinely client-led design.

The successful Architectural Technologist will:

• Take technical responsibility for projects from concept through to completion
• Produce and coordinate detailed drawings, specifications and construction information
• Liaise with consultants, clients and contractors to keep projects moving smoothly
• Ensure design integrity and technical rigour at every stage, including compliance with Building Regulations
• Support and mentor junior team members, helping to foster a collaborative studio culture
• Contribute to business development through design presentations and client engagement

This ideal Architectural Technologist will have:

• Membership of CIAT (MCIAT), or be working towards chartered status
• Significant post-qualification experience in an architectural practice
• A diverse portfolio showing a range of project types and sectors
• A proven track record of delivering projects through all RIBA stages
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
• Strong organisational, leadership and communication skills
• A genuine passion for design, sustainability and architecture
