This role will focus on service design for complex systems, platforms and data-led dashboards, rather than public-facing websites or simple application journeys.The successful candidate will bring a strong user-centred design mindset, with experience shaping end-to-end services in secure, public sector environments.Some user research experience is highly desirable, particularly where designers are required to work closely with users to validate assumptions and improve service outcomes within constrained or classified settings.Key Requirements:Active SC ClearanceProven experience working in secure central government or defence environmentsStrong UCD and service design experience across complex systems, platforms or dashboardsExperience designing services that sit behind the scenes, supporting operational or analytical usersUser research experience, including planning and conducting research to inform design decisionsAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary delivery teamsThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SC Cleared Service Designer to deliver meaningful user-centred change on a complex, high-impact programme, with a high degree of remote working flexibility.
