A Water Hygiene Engineer is sought to cover the Midlands area to carry out water sampling, monitoring and hygiene remediation works Based from home you will carry out the following duties: -Water sample collectionTemperature monitoring of hot and cold domestic water systemsDisinfection and descale of showerheads and hosesWater tank inspection, cleaning, and disinfectionTMV servicingChecking and monitoring chemical dosing systemsPutting accurate data into systemsBuilding and maintaining a good rapport with the clientsHave good communication skills, both written and verbalKEY SKILLSThe ideal candidate will have a good understanding of HSG274 and ACOP L8 guidance and regulation and 18 months experience as a water hygiene engineer. You will have a full UK Driving Licence and be prepared to travel throughout the Midlands with occasional out of area overnight stays.You will need experience of carrying out sampling and monitoring activities, good attention to detail and be proficient with IT systems. An Enhanced DBS or the ability to obtain one is also needed.
