AWS is seeking a talented Principal Engineer focused on DevOps / SRE / Systems Development Engineering to join our dynamic Region Services team in the UK, based in London. This role involves implementing innovative cloud computing solutions and solving complex technical challenges to shape the future of cloud infrastructure. AWS builds and manages some of the world''s largest internet infrastructures, providing scalable web services in the cloud, including compute, storage, and database resources.The ideal candidate will be motivated by learning and innovation, working in a start-up-like environment that offers the opportunity to operate at a massive scale. Responsibilities include automating and improving operational workflows, resolving systemic issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leading strategic initiatives in systems design, architecture, and process improvement.
