We have an exciting opportunity for an electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Agrial Fresh Produce in Wigan. The primary accountability is to provide safe and highly reliable equipment to manufacturing colleagues, achieved through a healthy balance of hands-on competence, equipment knowledge, analysis of equipment performance and strong communication skills. Our engineers play a vital role in our business, maintaining a range of specialist machinery and equipment throughout our factory site so that we can supply the nation and high-street retailers with our salads! Working in small teams on a mixture of planned and reactive maintenance, you will perform cyclical equipment maintenance, troubleshoot issues and make on-site repairs when needed. The successful candidate will be electrically biased or strongly multi-skilled across both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines. Experience of refrigeration, chlorine or compressed air would be a notable advantage, along with an understanding of food safety. Pay: £51,000 per annum Working hours: Continental Shift - 4On4Off: 7am-7pm/7pm-7am - 2 days/2 nights per shift block. Main Responsibilities Execute hands-on planned and unplanned maintenance activitie
