Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Humanities Teacher looking to inspire the next generation£ Supply Desk is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Humanities Teacher for a full-time, long-term position at a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school in Slough, starting in January 2026.

About the Role:
- Full-time teaching role delivering Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is a bonus)
- Long-term opportunity with potential for career development and progression
- Plan and deliver engaging, curriculum-driven lessons in History, Geography, RE, or related subjects
- Create a supportive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes active participation and respect
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support ongoing achievement
The ideal candidate will:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has experience teaching Humanities subjects, such as History, Geography, or Religious Education
- Displays strong classroom management and the ability to engage students of varying abilities
- Shows a genuine passion for delivering high-quality lessons and inspiring a love for the Humanities
- Communicates effectively and works well with both students and colleagues
- Brings a flexible, proactive, and positive approach to creating an inclusive learning environment
