This role is central to protecting consumers from online harm—whether it’s counterfeit goods, illicit tobacco, or large-scale fraud.About the Role: You’ll support the Disruptions Team Leader by conducting online and open-source research to identify harmful content, compiling intelligence logs, and producing actionable intelligence products. You’ll collaborate with trading standards teams across England and Wales, and external partners including the Police and HMRC.Responsibilities

Detect and research online threats and harmful platformsDevelop intelligence logs and reports to support enforcementAnalyse data from multiple sources and probe for deeper insightsCommunicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholdersContribute to national efforts to disrupt digital consumer harmIdeal Candidate

Intermediate-level experience in data analysis, evidence use, and researchStrong verbal and written communication skillsBackground in intelligence development or investigative analysisExperience in open-source research (advantageous)Passionate about consumer protection and digital safety
