The client requires some flexibility with hours for the needs of the business from time to time A health club based in Surbiton are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join their growing team and help maintain their facilities to the highest standards. As a Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for the day-to-day upkeep of the club''s facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our members. This includes maintaining machinery, lighting, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and pool equipment. Maintenance Operative Duties: Facilities Maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, lighting, and general repairs. Pool Plant Operations: Water testing, chemical balancing (Chlorine and pH), backwashing, and spa/shower area upkeep. (A pool plant course can be offered). Preventative Maintenance: PPM checks, logging issues in WAM system, and maintaining records. Security and Safety: Monitoring alarms, locks, fire extinguishers, and emergency procedures. Refurbishment and Deliveries: Assisting with redecoration and handling stock deliveries. Documentation: Keeping logs, stock takes and using basic Excel/Word tools.
