This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef with a deep appreciation for Japanese cuisine and a commitment to delivering excellence at the highest level.Frill Chef role:As Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes over the grill, ensuring each plate reflects the precision, artistry, and quality synonymous with Japanese fine dining. You will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to maintain the highest standards of consistency, flavour, and presentation.Grill Chef key responsibilities:Preparing and cooking a variety of grilled dishes, including premium cuts, seafood, and vegetables

Maintaining authenticity and excellence in Japanese grilling techniques (Robatayaki, Yakitori, etc.)

Ensuring consistent quality and presentation across all dishes

Managing mise en place and ensuring smooth service during busy periods

Adhering to food safety, hygiene, and health regulations at all times

Collaborating with the wider kitchen team to develop menus and seasonal specials

About You:Proven experience as a Grill Chef, ideally within a fine dining, Grill restaurant or Japanese restaurant

Strong knowledge of Japanese ingredients, flavours, and grilling techniques

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail

Passionate about exceptional food, presentation, and guest experience

A strong team player with excellent communication skills
