Conveyancing Legal Secretary

Location: South East London
Salary: -26,000 - -30,000 DOE

Right Match Recruitment Group is delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded law firm in South East London. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to support their busy Conveyancing team.

Whilst previous conveyancing experience would be advantageous, our client is also keen to meet experienced Legal Secretaries from other areas of law who are looking to develop their career within residential and commercial property.

• Providing comprehensive secretarial support to Conveyancing Solicitors.
• Managing client communications via telephone, email and correspondence.
• Preparing and formatting legal documents relating to residential and commercial property transactions.
• Opening, maintaining and closing client files, ensuring all documentation is accurate and compliant.
• Carrying out Land Registry applications and property searches.
• Managing diaries, appointments and general administrative duties.
• Supporting the team to ensure property transactions progress efficiently.

• Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary within a law firm.
• Conveyancing experience is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ideally familiar with case management systems.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• Ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and work to deadlines.
• Professional, reliable and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
